William Chen, DO

Dr. William Chen chose medicine because of his family, especially his sister, who helped him see how meaningful the field can be. That early influence led to a strong desire to help others through medicine.

He specializes in Family Medicine and cares for patients of all ages. This allows him to treat a wide range of needs while continuing to grow his skills. He values being part of important life changes, from the teen years to adulthood, parenthood and later life.

Dr. Chen treats many common health concerns, including high blood pressure, diabetes, obesity and mental health conditions like anxiety and depression. He also focuses on preventive care, such as cancer screenings, vaccines and routine checkups. His work includes women’s and men’s health, prenatal and postnatal care and sports medicine. When needed, he helps connect patients with specialists while continuing to support their care.

He earned his Doctor of Osteopathy degree from Touro University California and completed his Family Medicine residency at John Muir Health. He is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. He also has experience in telehealth, community health programs and caring for underserved populations, with a focus on improving access to care.
