Professional Statement
In medical school I fell in love with women's medicine and chose to specialize in obstetrics and gynecology. I care for women from their teen years through menopause, and look forward to building a long-term practice in Fairfield.
As the mother of two girls, I understand the special concerns women have during pregnancy and childbirth. Pregnancy is a natural event and I will be your partner through this journey. I encourage my patients to ask questions and learn all they can about the changes their bodies go through. Women have many choices when it comes to labor and delivery and I am open to helping you and your family have the type of delivery you desire.
I offer my patients a complete range of gynecologic care and perform surgeries such as hysterectomies, removal of fibroids, endometrial ablations and tubal ligations. I have a special interest in contraceptive counseling, adolescent gynecology care, polycystic ovarian syndrome, minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery and menorrhagia (heavy bleeding).
I was a music major in college and play the harp as a hobby.
