Professional Statement
My path to becoming a doctor began when I witnessed the disparities in healthcare access and outcomes for many people. During my clinical training, I worked with a doctor who showed me the important and special nature of family medicine. Right away, I felt connected to this field because it matched my values and goals.
What I love most about family medicine is how it looks at the whole person—not just their illness. It’s about understanding patients’ lives, building trust, and supporting them through all stages of life. As a family doctor, I get to create strong, lasting relationships with people of all ages, which is truly rewarding.
I describe myself as both passionate and compassionate. I believe great care means seeing each patient as a person, not just a diagnosis. I listen carefully and work with patients to make care plans that fit their unique needs. I believe in working together, showing respect, and helping people feel confident in managing their health. There is no one-size-fits-all in medicine, and patients appreciate the genuine care and attention I bring to every visit.
It means a lot to me when patients trust me with their stories. Even small steps toward better health are worth celebrating. That connection with people and the chance to make a difference every day is what makes this job so meaningful.
Outside of work, I believe in balance and spending time with family. I enjoy watching movies with my loved ones (even if I sometimes fall asleep halfway through!). I also like staying active—whether it’s hiking, biking, playing tennis or pickleball, or learning to play golf. I love to travel and explore new places, which helps me grow and brings a fresh perspective to my work with patients.
