Internal Medicine is often like solving puzzles, which I love. It requires adequate knowledge of not one but all the systems of the human body, and often connecting care between different specialties. It allows me to care for the whole patient.

I was inspired to pursue a career in medicine during my high school years. Medicine requires respect of the minutiae of human anatomy and physiology while also allowing one to make a positive impact on their community.

Internal medicine allows me the opportunity to care for patients age 18 and up. Along with preventive care, I treat problems like hypertension, diabetes, thyroid conditions, cardiovascular disease, obesity, asthma, COPD, arthritis, gout, anemia, GERD, IBS and IBD, liver and kidney disease, dementia, depression and anxiety, and much more.

I describe myself as a kind a passionate doctor who is a strong advocate for my patients’ health and well-being. I work hard to support them in becoming the best versions of themselves. I want my patients to know that they can speak to me directly about their problems, to ask me as many questions as they’d like and to know that their concerns will be heard.

I enjoy seeing my patients smile following an appointment. It brings me great joy to be able to help somebody become a happier and healthier person.

When I am not at work, I enjoy going on nature hikes with my family, playing fetch in the park with my dog and watching sports with my friends.
