Noor Kaur Sandhu, MD

Dr. Noor Kaur Sandhu's interest in medicine began at a young age. While accompanying her grandmother to medical appointments, she gained an appreciation for the important role physicians play in their patients' lives. Now, she values the chance to build long-lasting relationships with patients as they navigate health at every stage of life.

As a family medicine specialist, Dr. Sandhu treats patients across all stages of life for a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, including. These include high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, thyroid disorders, asthma, COPD, mental health concerns, skin conditions and musculoskeletal issues. Growing up, her parents taught her the value of being proactive, which shapes her focus on preventive care, screenings and patient education. Her special clinical interests include women's health, preventive medicine and chronic disease management.

After receiving her Bachelor of Science in Global Disease Biology from UC Davis, Dr. Sandhu earned her medical degree from the American University of Antigua. She then completed a family medicine residency at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Stockton, California. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the California Academy of Family Physicians.

Patients describe Dr. Sandhu as compassionate, attentive and approachable. She takes time to understand not just their medical concerns, but the parts of life that shape their health. It is important to her that each patient feels heard, respected and cared for during visits, and s. Outside of work, Dr. Sandhu enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, practicing yoga, weightlifting, snowboarding and spending time with family and friends.
