The practice of medicine inspired me long ago because it’s a versatile field. Each day presents an opportunity to evaluate and improve someone’s health, and I consider it a privilege to learn, diagnose, and treat a variety of conditions for my patients.

I’m a primary care provider who specializes in internal medicine. I focus on a patient’s physical and mental health by treating a variety of conditions from chronic issues such as diabetes, heart failure, high blood pressure, and kidney dysfunction to acute onset issues.

My patients usually seek me out because I take time to know them and their medical history. I’ve also been a source of comfort for those in the military community, probably because of my own service. I served six years of active duty in the United States Air Force before being separated, having once deployed to the Middle East and receiving the Air and Space Achievement Medal twice. I’m certain this is why servicemembers and veterans frequently seek me out as their primary care provider.

Given my comprehensive approach to health care, I always try to avoid overprescribing medications. In addition, I work with each patient to understand the best approach for their care. Nothing brings me more joy than knowing that my patients understand their medication regimen and current with their preventative care. I also encourage ownership of a patient’s wellbeing to extend their quality of life and independence. Quality and consistent care is always my aim.

In my free time, I enjoy outdoor activities with my fiancé and dog. I also enjoy learning new skills and doing nonprofit work in the community.
