Professional Statement
My path into medicine began with a deep curiosity about how the human body works, and how our environments shape our health. That early passion eventually led me to specialize in Occupational Medicine, where I get to help people recover, return to work, and thrive.
With over fifteen years of education and training, including an MPH in Occupational and Environmental Medicine from the Harvard School of Public Health, I’ve had the opportunity to care for a wide range of patients. During my time as a Flight Surgeon and Occupational Medicine Consultant in the U.S. Air Force, I provided primary care, conducted fitness-for-duty evaluations, and managed occupational health programs supporting thousands of active-duty and civilian members. My time in the military sharpened my focus on clear communication, quick action, and steady advocacy, all of which remain at the center of my practice today.
What drives me most in this work is helping employees get back on the job safely and as quickly as possible, returning not only to work, but to a healthy and productive life. I believe in being proactive, clear, and collaborative, to ensure that both the patient and employer are on the same page throughout the recovery process.
I believe great care starts with listening. I work closely with every patient to understand their goals, explain their options, and map out a plan that supports long-term recovery and lasting well-being. Patients often tell me they appreciate my down-to-earth approach and genuine investment in their wellbeing. I see each case as a partnership, and I’m committed to helping my patients regain function and long-term health.
Outside of work, I enjoy life with my wife, our two kids, and our dog. I’m happiest outdoors—camping, hiking, or out on my motorcycle. Nature helps keep me grounded, just like the meaningful work I get to do every day.
