About Adel Mahrous Mesilhi Ibrahim

Professional Statement

I chose to become a doctor because I wanted a career that combines science with kindness, one in which I could truly help people and make a difference in their lives. I decided to specialize in internal medicine because it allows me to care for the whole person, manage complex medical conditions, and build long-term relationships with patients.

My care covers adults with many conditions, such as diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, and other ongoing health concerns. Emphasizing prevention of disease, I aim to address patients’ concerns early and help them remain healthy over their lifespans. Additionally, I have a special interest in managing chronic illnesses and cardiovascular health.

I’ve been lucky to train with amazing doctors in hospitals and clinics across the country and around the world. Speaking both English and Arabic, I earned my medical degree from the University of Alexandria in Egypt and am a proud member of the American College of Physicians.

Every patient deserves respect, kindness, and clear information about their health. I want them to feel comfortable, ask questions, and be involved in their care. I take time to listen, explain things in a way that’s easy to understand, and we collaborate to create treatment plans that fit their lives and goals. My patients often say that I’m approachable and attentive; care and kindness are at the heart of everything I do.

The best part of my job is seeing patients feel better, whether it’s from improved health or just feeling more at ease after a visit.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, and staying active.
