Professional Statement
As a neurologist I care for patients with disorders of the nervous system. This includes headaches, epilepsy, stroke, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, movement disorders, neuropathies and dementias, including Alzheimer's disease.
I have a special interest in stroke and epilepsy. Stroke is the leading cause of death for the elderly in this country, yet there are many factors than can be modified to help prevent it. I also have expertise in treating post-traumatic epilepsy and epilepsy in the elderly population, which I believe is under diagnosed.
I encourage my patients to express their questions and concerns. My goal is to build long term relationships within my community. I take pride in serving my patients with dignity.
Prior to joining NorthBay, Dr. Rehman was a staff neurologist at Napa State Hospital. He treats patients age 14 and older. In addition to English, I'm fluent in Urdu, Pakistani Punjabi and proficient in Arabic, Hindi, and Indian Punjabi.
