Dr. Larissa Chartrand became interested in developing long-term patient relationships after being inspired by her mother, also a primary care community physician, and by the lasting relationships she saw her build with patients.
Dr. Chartrand brings advanced training in lifestyle and functional medicine to her practice, with a strong focus on prevention and uncovering the root causes of illness. She takes time to understand each patient as a whole person, not just their symptoms. After getting to know a patient during extended office visits, Dr. Chartrand creates individualized treatment plans that combine the best of conventional medicine with evidence-based lifestyle and integrative therapies to support healing and prevent future illnesses.
Outside of the clinic, she loves spending time with her family, exploring the California coast via motorcycle, hiking, enjoying wine country and strength training.
